If you’re anything like me, saddle fit is something that you aren’t 100% comfortable with. Every time I tack up, I evaluate the fit, fuss with placement, and worry about my saddle pad. After each ride I check Cash’s sweat patterns to ensure proper fit. Usually, his sweat patterns are just fine! I’m always relieved, only to worry once more while tacking up for the next ride.
I have multiple saddle pads, and usually every couple rides I switch to a different one as a result of self doubt. I’m still not totally confident with which pad is truly the best fit!
I came across a video the other day that broke down saddle fit into a few important principles. I found it easy to understand and helpful! Cash is currently on his rest period for two days, so I hope to re-check saddle fit with my new knowledge tomorrow.
